JPMorganChase CEO Jamie Dimon on AI Use Cases and Cybersecurity | Ed Sim posted on the topic | LinkedIn

JPMorganChase CEO Jamie Dimon's annual letter is always one of my favorite annual reads. Here are a few takeaways from the AI perspective: 2,000+ AI use cases live at JPM already "There will be a wide variety of AI models — open and closed, large and small — and no single tool will dominate." "Cannot predict the ultimate winners and losers" "Serious new risks from deepfakes to cybersecurity vulnerabilities" "AI deployment may move faster than workforce adaptation" - the labor question nobody wants to answer As I continue to believe, it’s clear we will live in a multimodel world with multiple tools, no large enterprise will rely on one foundational model for everything, huge opportunity for open source/open weight, and for founders to continue to build tooling, infra to deliver on the last mile in the enterprise And cybersecurity will only get even more important As Jamie says, still early to figure out who ultimate winners will be LFG - it’s time to build 🏗️

I highly encourage you to read the full letter where Jamie also talks about small teams to build fast and the current geopolitical climate: https://www.jpmorganchase.com/ir/annual-report/2025/ar-ceo-letters

Great summary, Ed. I agree it’s still early to see how the winners and losers will shake out. The companies that stand out will be the ones that move beyond experimentation and operationalize AI with discipline, building visibility in from the start and putting guardrails into the workflow.

Ed Sim That’s exactly why i began research and design on contextcontinuitylayer.org in Oct 2025. The main thesis is that business models built for a ‘walled-garden’ approach will need to adapt to a world where every organization is assembling a custom, composable, AI-integrated stack —which will require neutral infrastructure with a fundamentally different revenue model. CCL is that neutral infrastructure that helps both tech companies and organizations/businesses as we move further into the Agentic era.
