I ran into this exact memory-problem with Claude as well. As a freelancer working on different projects, my main challenge is always to make sure Claude has context about my work and projects before each session. As a non-developer Claude user I fixed it by building a local workaround that feeds Claude context at the start of every session. It's basically a local HTML dashboard (I called it YourOS) with underlying JSON databases. Works surprisingly well!
